Dreaming of a Store

So a friend that I work with had a dream of my shop and how it looks...I was so curious that I just had to have her sketch it out for me. What she came up with was exactly what I had in mind and hopefully one day can see it achieved!!

Engagement Cake

Ok so it didnt turn out like we planned but I think it was even better.
The top layer was a HOTT pink velvet with apple cream cheese filling, then the second layer was an old homemade recipe for Italian Cream (Thanks Ms Marie!!), the bottom layer was for Jeff the Groom and was a German Chocolate! It was a great party and cant wait for the wedding!!

Portfolio Sketchs - Cakes to come!

Word of Praise

Its always great to here that you are doing a great job. Here is an Email that I recieved from a customer from London. You are a genius, Sarah. The cupcakes are so adorable - now, if we could only do some tasting through the computer!! Your service has been exemplary - and, in fact, you read my mind because I intended to send you a request for some photos but my day has been quite hectic and not yet had the opportunity. Everything has been so efficient and trouble-free from my perspective, from my original order query to payment and now delivery. Thank you very much - it's always nerve wracking when you are engaging people from overseas without direct experience of their product and service. Wishing you the best, Rakhi

Portfolio Cake #1

Over the next couple of weeks I will be adding various cakes out of my portfolio to the website and blog. I will also be adding various sketches for upcoming cakes and portfolio projects. Stay Tuned!!

Graduation Cupcakes

I had the privilage of working with a wonderful lady from London this week who wanted to send a little something special for her niece and nephew living in Florida. The cupcakes above were for her niece. They are vanilla cake with chocolate ganache filling (nice little surprise inside) and Chocolate buttercream frosting. The cupcakes are topped with fondant daisys and graduation caps. Come back tomorrow for pictures of the second batch.
